What Puryau is — and isn't, yet
We're an early-stage, pre-launch company. No live app, no ride volume, no operating history — just a plan we want to explain honestly.
A founder-led, pre-launch team
Puryau is being built by a small, founder-led team based in Kathmandu. There is no live app, no ride volume, and no operating history yet — this page explains our plan honestly rather than overstating where we are today.
The plan
Build a ride-hailing app for Nepal that competes on lower commissions for drivers, transparent no-surge pricing for riders, and safety features designed in from day one — launching first in Kathmandu Valley before expanding to other cities.
What we're asking for
We're raising pre-launch seed capital to fund product development, driver and rider acquisition, and regulatory setup. Anyone considering investing should treat this as an early-stage, high-risk opportunity and do independent due diligence.
Local-first, not city-hopping
We'd rather get one market right than spread a small team thin across several. Kathmandu Valley gives us density, an existing pool of experienced drivers, and a rider base already used to app-based rides — a reasonable place to prove the model before expanding.
What guides how we build
These are commitments for the product, not results we can point to yet.
Honesty over hype
We'd rather say "pre-launch" plainly than dress up a plan as a product.
Drivers first
A platform only works long-term if the people driving on it can make a living from it.
Depth over breadth
One valley, done well, before any other city is considered.
Sustainable economics
Margins designed to work without permanent subsidy.
